Good News Garage was started by Hal Colston with funding and support from Lutheran Social Services of New England. Good News Garage is one of the first car donation non-profits in the United States to provide repaired donated vehicles to people in need. Good News Garage's mission is to create economic opportunity by providing affordable and reliable transportation options for people in need in VT, NH, CT and MA.
Unlike the vast majority of car charity programs, the goal of Good News Garage is to repair as many donated cars as possible and offer them to low-income individuals in need of transportation. Your donated car, truck or van can be a vehicle for change for an individual who is facing transportation barriers to get to a job or further their education. |
